I have a dodge ram with a 5.2 liter and want to know what I need to do to make sure I can pull our 7856 pound fifth wheel without having to get another truck

Eric .. look up the Gross Combined Vehicle Weight Rating. (GCVWR) or something of the sort that Dodge uses. That will tell, if you can tow that trailer.
