I am considering adding some toys to my truck to crank out some horse power. Ive already changed out the stock exhaust with a flowmaster (41 seriers muffler) dual exhaust. My next move was to evaluate many common or easy things to fix and here is what i have so far:
1.K&N Fuel injection performance kit (+15-20hp) 2.JetPowerFlow Throttle Body Spacer (+10-13hp) 3.Superchips Micro max tuner (+15-20hp) 4.Mopar 160 degree thermostat (+2-5hp) 5.MSD performance 9mm ignition wires (+1-5hp) These items i have come up with should give me the biggest bang for my buck, coming in around $1200 or so. My question is about the throttle body spacer. for starter airaid which literally boasts 'no dyno affect' is out but, there are 2 sides, the believers and the not so believers. will it really push 10-15hp into my truck, and my other question is will it even fit with my air intake kit...any help would be great or other good suggestions would be awesome -MaTT- |

We talked about the throttle spacer extensively on www.HemiTruckClub.com and the consensous was not worth it. I know alot of folks are devided on it. Another easy mod it an electric fan. That could give you another 20 hp.
