mr. truck need some help with a question I currently have a 98 dodge 3/4 ton was thinking about moving up to a 1 ton dodge . but when I read the specs on both trucks I see the same diesel and transmission in both trucks. I know that I am under trucked when I go thru the steep hills . so just what am I gaining by going to a 1 ton other than braking? thanks for your time bubbles

Yes the 2500 and 3500 use the same engine, transmission and axle ratios. The rear springs are different but little else besides a dually option.
