Given the same load and same truck (as close as you can get "Chevy 1ton"). Is the tire wear any different on the DRW compared to the SRW?

Given the same load it seems to me that a DRW would have a lighter load per tire than the SRW. But, for a given mileage, each tire has been rolled equally. I would not expect any more tire life. In fact, I have noticed the outside tire to wear a bit more than the inner tire of a dually. This may be the effect of tire scrubbing in turns. (The outer tire travels more distance than the inner tire)
