I have 1995 Chevy S-10 truck with a 2.2 liter manual shift with 75000 miles. I have developed a coolant leak that i cannot pinpoint in the rear of the engine. The engine is so close to the fire wall that it is difficult to see the leak even with mirror. I suspect a head or intake gasket is leaking. There is no coolant in the oil. Here is my question: is there a freeze plug in either the rear of the head or the rear of the engine block? if there is i cannot see it.

I forgot to look at engines on stands while at SEMA, but I was trying to remember if there are a couple of plugs on the back behind the clutch/torque converter.
