Hello all,

Just joined the site. Cool place. My wife and I have decided that camping with tents is done for us and we would like to buy a truck and camper. Problem is, is that we have never owned either of them. The type of camping we like is deep in the mountains generally traveled to on logging roads. Through the research that I have done so far I think the truck for us would be a used diesel dually 4 x 4 with seating for 6, make not important. I am leaning towards a diesel dually because I won't have to limit my camper choice, more stable than a single wheel. My question is this, of those members that own campers what are your opinions? Are there any years of trucks that I should stay away from, problematic engines, and transmissions?
