Ok so this coming year im starting a landscaping company so on a day to day basis 6 months out of the year im going to be towing between 5,500Lbs Too 8,000Lbs or around there some where so my question is do I need a 3/4 Ton truck to do this without it being stressfull on my truck or can I use a 1/2 or maybe a 1/2 Heavy duty or do i need a 3/4 Heavy duty im going to be buying between a 02-05 year and money is not really an issue i just don't want to buy a truck with 30,000 miles on it and by 70,000 have it falling apart on me because i rager on it I would really perfer like a Nissan but they don't offer a 3/4 truck and or a Heavy duty model I'm also going to be plowing and salting with it in our Hard Michigan winters so I also need to take that into consideration thank you

Just my opinion... You'll be better served by a 3/4 ton truck.

Landscaping requires heavy loads of rock, soil, and "stuff"

The snow plow and structure is a heavy load on a truck's front suspension. You'll need the truck to be able to carry it and the salt.
