How are the 6.0 powerstroke F-350 05's holding up under high mieage usage?

I've heard horror stories on the earlier years, are they better now?

What kind of mileage are the 05's getting?

There are still problems even in 06. I just bought a 06 F250 that was a buy back by Ford. The only major problems were a new turbo and EGR. It was reacquired by Ford because of a bad parking brake which was replaced also. So I can't figure out why it was bought back. I know 03's that had multiple injectors replaced, turbo, all sensors and 13 trips to the shop and Ford wouldn't buy back.

But I did an Oasis check on this truck through the Ford Service computer and can only figure the previous owner had a good lawyer. So I've calculated my risks, bought the extended bumper to bumper warranty for 5 years. Of course the price was cheap. It's mostly a backup truck between the media trucks I get. So I'll report on it over the years and see if Ford stands behind the "reacquired trucks" better than the new ones. There are thousands of these reacquired trucks that have been through the auction and resold with low mileage and original warranty intact since 2003.
