I was wondering if someone could point me to the right direction for where I can find a suggested service schedule for my truck ('99 F-350 DRW 4x4). I bought it used and had it overhauled at the time. I haven't had to do much to it since, and I think it's time for more than an oil change!!!
Hi, Helm makes the manuals for truck manufactures, try http://www.helm.com for maintance manuals, or a Ford dealer. You need the diesel and owners manuals. Ford has normal and sevear, like when towing trailers. As I recall, normal was 5000 miles and severe was 3000 miles. Wish we had spell check.

I always advised that my customer's use the severe schedule. After about 3500 miles, the engine oil will start to lose the anti-foaming agents and that will effect the way the injectors operate. Oil change every 3000 miles, fuel filter at 15,000 miles, add a pint of FW-16 ( from your Ford dealer)to the coolant every 15000 (this keeps the cylinder walls from pitting from cavitation) air filter about every other oil change, coolant flush and trans flush at 30,000 miles. That's pretty much it in a nut shell and that's how mine gets maintained.
