Simple question ... simple answer
Any truck with a gross combined vehicle weight rating (GCVWR) high enough to cover the loaded truck PLUS loaded trailer. More details needed for a more detailed answer. How much does the Bobcat weigh? Trailer weight? BP or GN? Cargo in truck? |

The truck needed will be hauling 15k each day, mostly locally in the Atlanta area, but all around GA and eastern TN. Any info on which truck between the Dodge 3500 and the Chevy 3500 that has the best longevity for this type of hauling would be greatly appreciated.

Only from personal experiance... The Dodge V10 or Cummins diesel are good engines. The Chrysler transmissions are not durable over the long haul.
The Allison transmission is first rate, mated to the Duramax or 8.1 engines. Either of these engines seem to be holding their own. If you buy a used Chevy, make sure the differential fluid was changed after the break-in. (as recommended in manual) |
