I have a 1994 Lance squire 8000 10"9 extended cab and am getting ready to put It on my new 2006 F-350 4X4 crew cab. The camper was originally on my 1993 F-250 super cab. What is concerning me is that the new 2006 has a taller cab height ( more interior height) than my old 1993 F-250 . I measured where the camper cabover would sit over my cab top of my truck and it looks like there is not going to be any clearance between the truck cab top and the camper cabover bottom. The new 2006 ford F-350 4X4 has not changed the body style so all measurements would be the same as the 2005 model. Will the Camper clear the roof of my truck. I would hate to crush the top of a $50,000 truck!

Thanks,
Ed

Hey Ed, Ford raised the cab in 99 and made the rear tailgate opening narrower. Folks started putting 2x4's under campers with the 99 Super Duty came out. Go to http://www.lancecampers.com and ask for the free camper guide or email them to ask them how much you have to space under the camper.
