I put a 03 PSD in my 01 F-250, and the cruise control and overdrive didn't work.
They were fine before the swap. Is there a common electrical component that could be bad? I 've checked all the fuses. Could it be the TR on the transmission. There isn't a check engine light. Smitty |

I'm assuming you installed an 03 7.3 liter in the 01? The TR sensor doesn't have anything to do with the cruise but could cause an OD concern. PCM problem maybe? I can't really see a problem with the new engine in the older chassis conflicting with the pm but it is a possibility. That's about the only electrical component that is common for both of those issues.
