Ford is boasting a smoother ride and improved turning radious for the 2005 F-350 4X4. Does anyone know this for a fact. If so, is there that much difference in the ride on the highway/in town as opposed to the 2 wheel drive. Would like the to purchace the 4X4 but don't want to have to give up much in the way of a smoother ride/turning cababilities.
Yes Ed, it's true, F250/350 will turn 5 feet shorter though it feels even shorter. The F450/550 have wider axles and will turn 12 feet shorter. All this from the new coil spring front suspension changes. Read my review from last summer, http://www.mrtruck.net/ford05sd.htm

Thanks again for your reply. The reviews from last summer were very informative. Whoever, I think I might have not explained my question well enough or am not understanding the answer. I was refering to the 2005 F-350 4X4 model. I was wondering if I would be losing that much as far a smoother ride on surface streets/highway as opposed to the 2005 F-350 2X4 model. Also, I was wondering the same thing in reqards to F-350 4X4 verses F-350 2X4 as far as turning radious. I would prefer the 4X4 but do not want to give up much in the way of turning radious and smoother riding ( less stiffness )
