Hi,

We'd like to get a 5th wheel trailer but we don't want a little truck, no other use for it.

We have truck tractors, is it possible to tow
a 5th wheel camper with the regular over the road tractor?

Thanks,
Karen

Sure, I see them on the road. Some folks get an OTR truck and cut the frame and rear axle to tow horse trailers and 5th wheels. Usually they add some weight to the rear chassis if they drive them empty. You can tow anything you want with a tractor. I haven't measured to see if the king pin is the same. But you would need room enough after the 5th wheel was slid all the way back to clear the 5th wheel floor wall or add a mini-5th wheel to the rear truck frame.
