I'm in the process of building a tow rig for one of my customers. It's a '39 GMC COE crew cab that will be grafted onto a 2009 Peterbilt 330. Essentially it will be a new class 6 Pete with a custom cab.

Anyway, the purpose of this truck is to pull a two car enclosed gooseneck trailer which has yet to be purchased. I am exploring the option of getting a stacker trailer to reduce the length of the truck and trailer combination, but all the ones I can find on the internet are either way too long, or bumper pull types.

So, I'm wondering if anybody knows where to get a 30' gooseneck stacker enclosed car hauler trailer, and if not, where is the best place to have one built.

Or, should I just go with a standard 45+ foot two car trailer.

The tow vehicle has a 20,000# air-ride rear axle, so I want to have as heavy of a tongue as possible.

I'm very much in the planning stages so far, and I welcome any input I can get on this subject.

Wow !! What an interesting & unique project.

You might make some contacts with antique car or racing groups for ideas and sources.
