i have a 99 ford power stroke ext cab long bed with a 4 in lift it has extra spring and overload spring my question is i want to buy a camper and its dry weight is 3400#s is this to much 4 my truck also i have a 19ft boat i would like to pull also

I know several guys that use F250's with slide in campers up to 4000 lbs and it works fine. You already have the springs so you should be ok. The only thing that worries me is the lift kit. Your center of gravity is going to be very high with the lift and the camper so you will have to be extremely careful. In a non-lifted truck the wind from passing semi trucks makes it feel like the truck is going to lay over on it's side so I would be concerned with the lift, the truck itself should be fine.

thanks for the info ive had several people tell me that i was going to have to beef up the suspension and get air bags and then had people tell me it would work fine. as for the lift i know ive got to be careful its really more a leveling kit its only 1 or 2 inches higher than a stock truck. i was also told once i hook on the boat that it would help a little to this is my 1st slide in camper so i am learning as i go
