hello i was wondering if you know the max pulling cap of a 1995 chev 1500 extented cab 2 wheel drive. It has a 5.7 liter. 3 sp auto with od. Also would i incease my pulling capacity by adding a trany cooler, helper springs, ect ect... ?
buying a boat soon and wonering if i need a biger truck.

Hi, Trailer Life at http://www.trailerlife.com/output.cfm?id=42175 lists trailer capacity back to 1999. You can buy older guides for $3.95 on that page. My guess is 7000#'s. Yes tranny cooler is very important. Helper springs help too but all this is for longer truck life and safer hauling. The trailer capacity is set by the manufacture and no aftermarket products can change that.
