1)Is there any difference between a B & W turnover ball hitch and Draw-Tite's 30K Performer Under-Bed Gooseneck hitch? They seem very similar. Same ratings....
2) Do you reccomend 2, 3 1/2 or 6 1/2" forward of the rear axel? (F350SD 4x2 DRW Tow Boss TurboDiesel towing between 16,500 and 18,000#)
I understand the B & W is a no drill with either 3.5 or 6.5" options.
Thanks!

From what I've seen B&W and Popup have braces on both sides of the ball socket and the others only have the "V brace" on the back side. But hard braking can push on the front side of the bracket. So I'd go with B&W or Popup. 6.5 seems far, and may give you bed rail and tailgate clearance issues.
