i have a swb pickup and recently bought a race trailer with a square nose. i mounted my ball in the proper spot and i bought a 9" extender. the problem is i still need a few more inches of clearance. i have dimpled both corners of my cab and i cant make sharp turns. i see B&W make a 4" ball extender and wonder if i use that in combination with my pop up 9" , will that do the trick. I know it will give me the lcearance i need but my question is will i have problems with how it ows or what not. any help would be appreciated

I've known folks who do it. It's not recommended by either company. You're getting alot of leverage. I would say it would depend on the weight of the trailer.

With that weight of trailer, if it where me, I'd do it. But I can't give advice past what the hitch companies recommend.
