The trailer dealer (he does a lot of horse hauling) i bought the 1850# 2HBP from said he did not recommend a wdh for the 3000#(trailer+horse) i am towing, so i have not been using one. Seems all the advice i've seen on here says i should be anyway...whadya think?? I don't need any more grey hair either, but have not experienced any swaying; i rarely exceed 55mph.
Thanks again...

Jem .. Since you're doing well with-out a WD hitch, I'd say just continue. Just remember if you do experience sway at some time...use the manual brake control to apply the trailer brakes only. This will damp the sway and let you regain control of your rig.

Enjoy your trailer and freedom to ride.
