Is the Tundra to light to be pulling a 9500# bumper pull trailer around. the truck has plenty of power to pull the trailer, however I'm a littler concerned due to the Tundra is compared to the 1/2 tons and I knwo the 1/2tons are to light and underpowered. Can I just install leaf springs or bags to get the payload up or Am I still going to be in an undersized rig. Thanks

Hello Elkman ...

The real answer is from Toyota's towing specification.

Add the weight of the loaded truck and the loaded trailer. It should be less than the Combined gross vehicle weight rating or CGVWR.

You'll want a WD hitch in any case.
