Hello,
Wondering how to calculate proper distribution of weight on a flatdeck carhauler.
Looking at mounting a tent trailer, sideways, without axles & Suspension onto the front of a flatdeck. Leaving enough room on back of trailer to drive Jeep Wrangler up onto.
Jeep is about 3500-4000 lbs
Tent trailer: 2000lbs

Just some thoughts...A BP trailer "should" have 10% of its weight on the tongue. Since the tent trailer is fixed, the only other adjustment is "cargo stuff" and the Jeep. Unless you get the trailer on a scale, you'll just have to experiment. Remember the Jeep engine. It'll make a diffence to the balance if you back it or drive it on the trailer.
