Hi. I'm looking to haul my one horse (small warmblood) in a 2000 lb Ivor Williams 2-horse trailer around Ireland. I see people here using small SUVs and even big cars to haul trailers all the time, but I'm wary of getting something too small.

The truck will have to double as the family car; we live in the city and don't have a lot of parking room. Also, the roads in Ireland are quite windy and narrow, so a really big SUV like a Suburban is out of the question.

Can you recommend a midsized SUV that might fit the bill? People here are steering me towards a Hyundai Tucson, but with a towing capacity of 3500 lbs, that seems tight to me. Thanks!
