We have a steel trailer with a mannual jack. What I need to know is how do I install an electric jack? Where can I get this information and what jack do you reccomend? Our existing jack is welded to the trailer.

Biggest problem I see, is the power for it. You'll have to have a battery, run it from the truck or plug in to utility power. Try searching the RV forums. Or perhaps someone here has installed a power jack ...
