Featherlite has been around a long time. They're part of Universal trailers now. A 4 horse trailer is a heavy load. Make sure your truck is capable of its hitch weight.

I have a f-350 4x4 dually , 7.3 diesel and added chip and exhaust 700 lbs torque. It pulls it like its not even there. The trailer is a 2003 in excellent condition and curious about your opinion on featherlite. I had a 1995 cherokee 4 horse before and was very impressed with it. The werming they put on these floors is that something you put under the mat to protect floor and how good is it in the protection of the aluminum floor? Thank you for your expertise

WERM is short for We Eliminate Rubber Mats. It is very highly thought of by some people I respect.
I haven't had personal experience with it, But I do like the Sundowner coating under the mat. Manure & urine is very hard on aluminum. I still regularly wash under the mats. Otherwise, the smell of urine from under the mat is bad. (I bed the trailer with shavings too)
