Another project I'd like to undertake with my F-350 7.3 psd is to upgrade the transmission cooler to the one Ford put in the 6.0 trucks. I have gone so far as to have the local tranny guy procure the cooler. But, now he cannot figure a way to install it! He even said that my 7.3 does not have a transmission cooler presently. He says it DOES have an engine oil cooler.

Is this one and the same thing? If not, is he crazy? I thought Ford put a transmission cooler on the 7.3's.

It doesn't take much to confuse me and I'm there!
