We have a 2003 Kodiak with the Duramax Diesel. I am planning on driving to Georgia in June. I'll post another question about that later!! I'd love to know what the buttons on the dash are for. My husband has "misplaced" the owners manual, so I'm hoping for some more "hands on" information. It's got:
engine brake a pic of four wheels, with two offset a D with a square and a line thru it I figured out the heated mirrors what looks like a tire with TC under it what looks like two headlights shining at each other If there are others, I'll post them. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. As in what situations to use what buttons. Thanks! Meredith |

Trying to remember had one with a Monroe package the summer of 04, I think the one with the circle and brackets with a < and D is the standard exhuast brake. You can leave it on and when you let off the gas pedal is will kick on and slow you down. The one with the picture of the truck with arrows going up and down are the rear air axle. Pushing one way will dump the air and lower the rear of the truck for hooking up to a trailer, but don't leave it down or it will ride terribly rough. The TC may be locking differential and the lights are marker lights as in running lights. Similar switches to the Freightliner M2 and a lot of semi trucks. Some of them have a tranny temp guage and air filter gauge.
