have a chev 5500 duramax diesel 2006. had it in to install gps unit from former truck. tech could not get it to work because he could not find what he called the speed wire? needed for unit to calculate eta, next exit etcettara. also when pulled the wireing harness apart under dash left side and put it back together the check engine lite came on and will not reset? thanks in advance. trukdog

The GPS units I'm reviewing now (Delphi and Co/Pilot)just plug in the 12v cigarette lighter. I don't have any wires going to the trucks loom.
